Big Lake Protein Processing Plant

Big Lake, Minnesota, is a charming city in Sherburne County, home to a community of approximately 11,700 residents. Our Big Lake facility processes eggs into consumer-ready products such as patties, omelets, and other customer-specific needs. The facility underwent a massive expansion that increased its production capabilities by 70 million pounds annually.

At Cargill, we believe in giving back. Our employees actively contribute their time and financial resources to the community by cleaning up the Big Lake National Wildlife Refuge twice a year.
