How to Join Your Microsoft Teams Interview
This page will guide you through joining your Microsoft Teams interview using your phone or computer. To ensure a smooth interview experience, please review the steps and prepare in advance.
Before your interview, please ensure you have a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, an active email address, and access to Microsoft Teams via the app or a supported web browser. We recommend preparing at least one day in advance.
Important Information
- If you experience issues accessing the meeting link and your interview is about to start, please use the dial‑in information provided in the confirmation email.
- If the issue persists, contact the interview coordinator who scheduled your interview.
- Please wait for the interviewer to admit you to the meeting.
- Once you join, please unmute your microphone and turn on your camera.
Join from your phone
Android
- Open the Google Play Store, search for Microsoft Teams, and tap Install.
- Click the meeting link you received in the confirmation email.
- When the Microsoft Teams app opens, select Join as a guest.
- Enter your name to join the meeting.
iPhone (iOS)
- Open the App Store, search for Microsoft Teams, and tap Download.
- Click the meeting link you received in the confirmation email.
- When the Microsoft Teams app opens, select Join as a guest.
- Enter your name to join the meeting.
Tip: Installing the app in advance helps avoid last minute technical issues.
Join from Your Laptop
No Microsoft Teams App Required
- Click the meeting link you received in the confirmation email.
- Your browser will open and ask how you would like to join the meeting. Select Join on the web.
- When prompted, allow access to your microphone and camera. If you do not see this prompt, check your browser settings and enable pop‑ups.
- Enter your name to join the meeting.
Tip: Allowing camera and microphone access in advance helps avoid last‑minute technical issues.
