Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Director, HR Business Partner acts as the strategic business partner for our ANH EMEA and Global Salmon business and leadership team. This role leads a global HR team to develop and drive the people and culture strategy and provides advice and guidance on strategic workforce plans that support growth. This leader collaborates with senior leaders and the centers of expertise to deliver against core people levers and strategies, including culture, organizational design, leadership development, strategic workforce planning, talent management, team and organization effectiveness and change management.

Key Accountabilities

  • BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP: Partners with executives and senior leadership to proactively own the identification, development and execution of the people and culture agenda and operating cadence for the respective business or function to advance business objectives, and leads and guides a team to execute the strategy and protect business assets.
  • TEAM LEADERSHIP: Leads and guides a team with a business centric mindset and cultivates an environment of collaboration and commitment to business performance.
  • PEOPLE PROCESS EXECUTION: Manages and guides the execution of core people processes throughout the year, such as goal setting, talent reviews, compensation planning, middle year and year end performance discussions, engagement surveys, action planning, and forecasting resource needs in partnership with finance teams.
  • DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION: Champions diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in partnership with business leaders, employees and centers of expertise to implement and drive success of related initiatives.
  • DATA-DRIVEN COACHING: Leverages data, analytics and external insights to coach and influence senior leaders on leader effectiveness and organizational health and other topics to drive current and future business performance by monitoring and tracking key people and culture metrics and taking appropriate actions to improve outcomes.
  • PROCESS PLANNING & DELIVERY: Leads efforts to evaluate operating models, talent and capabilities required, recommend, design, develop and implement organizational solutions to maximize individual and team effectiveness and deliver business objectives, including resource and succession planning, talent assessment, organization design, strategic workforce planning, change management, engagement action planning, and development of strategies to build new capabilities.
  • STRATEGY & SOLUTION CONNECTION: Consults with and influences senior leaders in partnership with global center of expertise colleagues to align on human resources strategies that address business needs, drive business results and mitigate risk for the organization, and coaches and influences senior leaders.
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT: Manages team members to achieve the organization's goals, by ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, creating goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of 8 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 12 years or more of relevant experience
  • Strong business and financial acumen with proven ability to understand the business vision, strategy, priorities, financial and performance measures and cycle
  • Confirmed ability to partner with business leaders to successfully drive the agenda, large scale change initiatives, use data and analytics and influence to gain their commitment and support
  • Demonstrated functional expertise across multiple areas, including organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management, change management, compensation and strategic workforce planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong combination of relationship, influencing, strategic, technical and execution skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with flexibility and demonstrated organization skills
  • Demonstrated consultative and collaborative approach with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of leading teams on broad change initiatives
  • Outstanding executive communication and presentation skills and confirmed ability to conceptualize, lead, implement and monitor programs and initiatives in the context of broader business and organizational objectives
  • Experience working in a large, global, matrixed environment
