At Cargill’s India Capability Center (ICC) in Bengaluru, our employees are dedicated to strengthening the communities where we live and work. Through strong partnerships and volunteerism, we have:

  • Served over 5 million meals to local schoolchildren with Akshaya Patra
  • Refurbished 1,000 classroom blackboards in just one hour—earning recognition in the Asia and India Book of Records
  • Renovated 32 Anganwadis to support early childhood education
  • Rejuvenated a lake in Yelahanka, increasing its water storage capacity from 12 million to over 90 million liters
  • Implemented rainwater harvesting systems in three government schools to enhance water usage and groundwater levels
  • Organized sports days and health and hygiene sessions in local schools
  • Donated 166 units of blood to support children with thalassemia
