BATCH Weighbridge Operator

This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Weightbridge Operator will perform complex duties related to weighing raw materials manually according to the recipe, following established policies and procedures and using available technology with limited to no guidance. In this role, you will make decisions on performed items in the plan, communicate needs and issues to the management, evaluate raw materials to maintain the highest quality and communicate discrepancies while performing all production operations adhering to all required food safety policies, rules and regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare production scales according to direct instructions and make decisions on the optimal execution of the plan under limited guidance.
- Transport materials and items in production and storage areas and other designated areas operating a hand truck or electric hand truck as needed and replenish raw materials in cubicles.
- Review and evaluate organoleptically the quality of raw materials and communicate any concerns to management.
- Operate available equipment and system to perform the job with limited to no guidance.
- Understand and comply with all safety rules and regulations working under limited guidance.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work additional overtime
- Ability to work on a rotating roster
- Ability to maintain plant operations
- Previous experience working in a production environment
- High school degree or equivalent
