Job Purpose and Impact

The Bulking and Port Operator will operate equipment to store, dry, clean and convey bulk commodities with an understanding of policies and procedures and regular guidance. In this role, you will ensure material handling and storage procedures are followed to meet all safety and regulatory policies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Operate equipment to store, dry, clean and convey bulk commodities per understanding of terminal operation policies and procedures working with regular guidance.
  • Coordinate inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals and finished products.
  • Use hand and power tools to perform preventative and autonomous maintenance, troubleshoot machine issues and escalate complex machine issues.
  • Complete critical inspections and paperwork for loading and offloading of products while adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • May unload varying bulk commodities from truck, rail or barge into storage and load finished product into trucks, rail or barge vessels.
  • Understand and adhere to all environmental, healt and safety policies and procedures including equipment lockout tag outs.
  • Understand and adhere to all food safety quality and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Having Diploma's Degree or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
  • Having experience in Tank Farm & Jetty area and familiar to operate with a palm oil cargo and its derivatives or other industries with similar characteristic
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
