Cargill's North America protein business produces fresh, frozen and cooked beef, turkey, pork, chicken and egg protein offerings, sauces, soups, case ready products, pet treats and by-products for our retail, foodservice and food ingredient customers.

Compensation: $20/hr

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Perform minor maintenance/repairs that require the ability to safely use a variety of tools and equipment
  • General labor duties including painting, manual labor, and yard work
  • Minor administrative functions
  • Assist with building maintenance and equipment requests
  • General Clean up and Housekeeping
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Must be authorized to work for in Canada
  • Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old
  • Registered in a recognized Canadian Post Secondary institute for Fall 2026
  • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly and performing physically demanding work as well as to to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, being responsible, resourceful, work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work outdoors, at height, and in all environments
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and professionally communicate with public and co-workers


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous construction experience
  • Previous painting and landscaping experience
  • Knowledge of standard First Aid
