This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.

Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Shift Available: Day shift
Compensation: $28.60 CAD/hr

Principal Accountabilities:
•    Perform cleaning and housekeeping general activities according with the sanitation program
•    Basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations
•    Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
•    Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
•    Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment as needed
•    Daily inspections of mobile equipment
•    Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•    Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
•    Must be 18 years or older
•    Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
•    Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
•    Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc., to work in elevated areas of the plant, and must be able to work in confined spaces
•    Basic use of a computer
•    Possess a valid Canadian Full Class 5 Driver’s license in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment

Preferred Qualifications:
•    High school diploma/GED
