Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for ensuring that knives and scissors are maintained in proper working condition and with the required sharpness during the shift
- Ensure that knives, scissors, sharpeners and/or other required tools are available at workstations at shift start-up, after breaks and throughout the processing day
- May be required to maintain a written record of available knives/scissors and/or other department tools
- Assist in ensuring physical accountability for tools issued and assigned within the department; report deviations to supervision
- Report knives/scissors/tool deficiencies promptly for correction
- Conduct proper cleaning and sanitation of knives and scissors at end of shift, and as may become required during the shift
- Complete other job-related requirements in the department as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Cargill experience
- Previous sanitation or maintenance experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
