Sr. Executive Plant Administration
Job Purpose and Impact
This role is aligned to our Animal Nutrition and Health business based at Doddaballapur, Bangalore.
The Senior Executive – Plant Administration will supervise administrative and secretarial employees to ensure effective office support. In this role, you will set priorities for the team to complete tasks, coordinate work with other supervisors and multiple less complex office and administrative processes related to customer requests, arrange for meeting coordination and logistics, security procedures, management of office inventory and mailroom or print services.
Key Accountabilities
- Assign and monitor typing and related administrative and secretarial work.
- Coordinate a wide range of services to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Prepare work schedules for administrative employees to cover critical functions such as reception, telephones, mail preparation and delivery and typing.
- Liasoning with Dir of Factories for license renewal, submitting the monthly statements, local govt & non govt bodies and main harmonious relationship.
- Security activities & documents supervision
- Verifying day to day and resolving any employee/Labour related grievances and quick settlement of disputes related wages, OT, Bonus, and other labour related disputes in coordination with Compliance and EIR.
- Co ordinating with manpower contractors and making availability in resp shifts
- Verifying and certifying the attendance all employees (Cargill employees and Contract employees)
- Supervising the uniform washing and availability.
- PPEs and admin consumable stock monitoring and replenishing.
- Canteen provision stock monitoring and replenishing and supervising the canteen activities.
- Supervising housekeeping activities of the Plant premises, change room and lockers
- Coordinate with EE/EIR in addressing/ resolving union related grievance and maintain discipline in the plant
- Making sure all the legal abstracts, legal/ HR/IR announcements are posted on notice board.
- Monitoring EIR situation in the plant and ensuring industrial peace & harmony.
- Handling inspections from statutory authorities like labour dept, factories dept, KSPCB etc., in coordination with Plant Manager, compliance & EIR
- Employee Attendance and Leave administration. Coordinate with HR ops to provide payroll inputs of union employees.
- Monitoring of Health, safety & welfare measure at the plant and quick settlement of grievance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Other minimum qualifications may apply.
- Minimum five years of work experience in a plant administration role.
Preferred Qualification
- Fluent in spoken and written Kannada
- Experience dealing with regulatory authorities and managing contract workman and union employees.
- Full time Postgraduate in Human Resources / Master in Social Welfare
