Job Purpose and Impact

The Bulk Loader Unloader I, will prepare trucks, railcars and barges for loading and unloading bulk materials following established policies and procedures and with frequent guidance. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring material movement and storage operations are completed while adhering to policies and procedures to ensure all safety and regulations are followed.

Key Accountabilities

  • Complete manual procedures to prepare rail cars for loading and unloading such as opening lids, opening rail car gates, hooking hoists to cover barges, hooking pumps and positioning pumps with frequent guidance.
  • Perform ingredient testing and collect product samples.
  • Complete loading or unloading inspections, documentation and process quality records both manually and electronically.
  • Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lockout tag outs.
  • Drive semi-trucks to be loaded or offloaded with bulk materials as required by location.
  • Other duties as assigned
