Sourcing Specialist (m/f/d)

Job Purpose and Impact
The Sourcing Specialist will participate with team members to perform more complex sourcing activities for a category or subcategory locally. In this role, you will participate in soliciting and analyzing requests for proposals, negotiating contracts, and coordinating supplier integration plans with internal clients for goods and services.
This role is dedicated to Delacon, Cargill's Austrian subsidiary and a pioneer in phytogenic feed additives. Based in Engerwitzdorf (near Linz), Delacon specializes in the research, development, and production of innovative natural feed additive solutions for poultry, swine, ruminants, and aquaculture.
Key Accountabilities
- Understand business requirements for more complex categories, sub-categories aligned with local sourcing requirements
- Support the routine activities within local sourcing
- Conduct more complex research and analysis using a general understanding of data management, analytics and sourcing
- Participate in local supplier selection and negotiations, may lead more complex selection and negotiation
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision
- Participate in SAP deployment in region representing the sourcing team

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English and German skills, as daily collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders takes place in both languages.
- Knowledge of SAP

For legal reasons, we must point out that this position offers a starting salary of €3,085.47 gross per month (based on a 38-hour week).
Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and individual skills, and may therefore be higher.
