Compensation: $29.25/hr 

Job Overview

 As an Industrial Electrician III you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex electrical systems and production equipment issues. You will work independently and provide technical support to team members, improve system reliability, and help implement electrical and automation solutions that enhance plant performance.

What You Will Do

  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical, automation, and control system failures to support safe and reliable plant operations. 
  • Create, install, and troubleshoot electrical wiring layouts, circuit routing, and related electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), motor controls, instrumentation, and automated equipment. 
  • Lead complex maintenance activities, equipment upgrades, and the installation, startup, and commissioning of electrical improvements and capital projects. 
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced electricians while partnering with vendors, engineering, and operations teams to improve equipment reliability. 
  • Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures, implement corrective actions, and maintain detailed maintenance and repair documentation
  • Perform job duties in a fast-paced, cold, or warm production setting with required PPE while engaging in physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
  • Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

What You Will Need

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. 
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Advanced troubleshooting experience with industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to create and modify wiring layouts and circuit routing.
  • Experience with PLCs, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), instrumentation, and industrial automation.
  • Ability to interpret advanced electrical drawings and technical documents

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Electrical certification, apprenticeship completion, or journeyman credential.
  • Experience leading maintenance projects.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or SAP.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and reliability-centered maintenance
  • Work history in the last 12 months.
