Electrical Technician

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Electrical Technician will perform maintenance and troubleshoot complex electrical issues on plant or production reequipment using in-depth knowledge and under occasional guidance and may provide support to others. This role will ensure all electrical assets are maintained in a safe condition while completing preventative maintenance plans.
Key Accountabilities
- Complete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial electrical work throughout the facility while operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools.
- Create, install and troubleshoot wiring system layouts and circuit routing.
- Interpret and understand electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints and operation manuals.
- Document completed work and conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software.
- Interact regularly with external vendors, peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a collaboration focused environment.
- Operate mobile equipment such as loaders, scissor lifts and aerial lifts as needed.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor’s degree in electrical, automation, and mechatronics or related field or equivalent experience.
- Fresh Graduated is welcome or minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in maintenance or manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrate strong capability in executing maintenance activities with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
- Having good english communication skill (verbal and written).
- Proficient in microsoft office and computer application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in using PLC and instrument.
- Familiar in using electrical especially for handling trafo and strong electric current.
