Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.

Job Purpose and Impact

The  Food Safety Quality Regulatory Technician II will provide quality assurance and food safety technical support through testing and auditing process documentation and data collection and analysis. In this role, you will collaborate to identify quality assurance issues along side with the FSQR supervisor.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct inspections of finished products or raw materials to identify trends in defects or errors and support more complex trials and experiments under intermediate supervision.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring to new team members.
  • Conduct documentation review of hazard analysis, food safety and quality documents.
  • Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Conduct sample collection of products in process for third party testing.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of meat cuts
