We are hiring students for General Production from May 1st – September 1st, 2026 for a variety of non-Coop/Internship roles and responsibilities within this title.
Job Location: Guelph, Ontario
Job Type: Temporary/Contract Full Time
Shift(s) Available: Various Days/Afternoons (Monday – Friday 6:00am/6:30am – 2:30pm/3:00pm or 3:00pm/3:15pm-11:30pm/11:45pm)
Compensation Range: $20.30 - $22.50 / hour
Anticipated Start Dates: May 1st & June 1st, 2026

Principal Accountabilities
- Ensuring food safety and quality
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Trimming and cutting meat (Training provided)
- Assisting Machine Operator
- Picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, boxing, packing, pushing, pulling and lifting product weighing 20lbs-60lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Working with raw meat particularly but not limited to Beef and Pork
- Ability to work in temperature controlled environments (Hot/Cold 0-4 Celsius)
- Performing repetitive labour in a fast-paced environment
- Cleaning and housekeeping
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be currently legal to work in Canada
- Must be comfortable with picking, sorting, labeling, boxing and packing raw meat products
- Must be able to push, pull and lift product weighing 20 – 60lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
