This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions. 

Job Purpose and Impact

Cargill Risk Management, a business unit of Cargill is a pioneer and leader in providing risk management solutions.  At its core, our business is about working with customers to understand their commodity exposure and structure risk management (over-the-counter) products to meet their needs. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cargill Risk Management has offices in 11 countries. 

The Sales Associate will assist in providing analytical, promotional, administrative and sales support services to CRM sales professionals. In this role, you will contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards and represent CRM to external and internal customers.

Key Accountabilities

•    Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity, following established policies and procedures.
•    Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
•    Help support business growth by disseminating information that favorably promotes the organization and its products and services.
•    Collaborate with senior staff to prepare strategies to protect, grow and diversify relationships with targeted customers.
•    Participate in development and delivery of sales bids, presentations and proposals and conducting product demonstrations.
•    Ensure data in the internal systems accurate and current.
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
