Digital Nutrition & Platform Data Analyst

This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Digital Nutrition & Platform Data Analyst is responsible for delivering nutrition data analysis and supporting digital farm data management to improve farm productivity and customer performance. The role combines nutrition expertise, data analytics, and digital technologies to generate actionable insights, support technical services, and enable data-driven decision-making for internal teams and customers.
Key Accountabilities
1. Nutrition Data Analysis (50%)
- Compile, analyze, and interpret nutrition & feed formulation data to support customer projects.
- Develop customized reports, product recommendations, and feed formulations using multiple data sources.
- Provide technical and analytical support to the Account Manager and the Technical Manager to deliver customer solutions and achieve business and customer objectives.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers to understand data requirements and provide nutrition-related recommendations.
2. Farm Data Management Platform (50%)
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of farm data management platforms (Agriness, PigPro, Excel, Power BI).
- Coordinate farm data collection processes and ensure standardized data entry across customer farms.
- Monitor data completeness, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Develop dashboards and performance reports.
- Train users on data interpretation for farm management actions.
- Coordinate digital farm data management projects, including project planning, progress tracking, organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Nutrition, Data Analytics, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Experience working with agricultural or livestock production data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Agriness and PigPro is required.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Nutrition, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of commercial swine production systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
