Packaging Operator
Job Purpose and Impact
The Machine Operator II will operate production or warehouse machines that are either non-similar or require moderate set up and machine adjustments, perform maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues, understanding policy and procedures with regular guidance. In this role, you will maximize throughput and produce quality product while following all food safety and regulatory polices as required.
Key Accountabilities
- Setup machines that are non-similar or require moderate setup.
- Feed materials into machines, operate and monitor machine operations, according to production schedules and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product specifications are met.
- Use hand and power tools to perform preventative and autonomous maintenance, troubleshoot machine issues, escalating complex machine issues.
- Track production and quality records both manually and electronically.
- Operate powered mobile equipment including forklift or pallet jack.
- Unload and prepare product for movement of finished product.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lockout-tag outs.
- Other duties as assigned
