This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Training Coordinator plays a critical role in driving workforce capability and operational excellence across the manufacturing organisation. This role is responsible for designing and delivering learning strategies that support safety, compliance, technical proficiency, leadership development, and continuous improvement. This position will also oversee training coordination activities to ensure efficient scheduling, tracking, and reporting of all learning programs while working closely with operations, engineering and human resources. The coordinator ensures that employees at all levels are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to meet current and future business needs.

Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement a site-wide learning strategy aligned with manufacturing goals and compliance requirements.
- Design and deliver training programs covering EHS, technical skills, SOPs, quality systems, and leadership development.
- Conduct training needs analyses and skills gap assessments across departments.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure accurate tracking of training records and certifications.
- Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, materials, venues, and external providers.
- Support onboarding and induction processes for new starters.
- Monitor training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement using KPIs and feedback.
- Promote a learning culture through initiatives such as toolbox talks, safety weeks, and mentoring programs.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Learning & Development role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of compliance training, safety standards, and technical development
