This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Production Administrator will combine multiple support activities related to plant information and controls and will support and track plant performance versus commitments and business plans. In this role, you will coordinate the plant performance analysis regarding energy and chemicals consumption, volumes, yields, unexplained losses and productivity performance and improvements. You will be a key player in the budgeting process, procure to pay, accurate reflection of physical reality in the fixed assets register and is the owner of the operations controls. You will support plant management with insightful information as the foundation for their decisions, participate in implementing and follow up on corrective actions, create, improve and update reports and presentations for regular meetings or ad hoc requests.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare the process to update the monthly actual, budget and forecast information into the systems, ensure it reflects the actual plant performance and coordinate the monthly stock take at site.
- Prepare and apply detailed information and actions lists for the site security meetings, monthly plant performance meetings, tour and security plant reports.
- Coordinate a solid forecasting, target setting and budget processes and variance explanations for the site and all other necessary activities for ensuring product and site security.
- Monitor plant procurement processes to ensures ordering chemicals and aids is done time to ensure plant downtime is minimized or eliminated.
- Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Completing payroll for all hourly stakeholders.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent.
- Knowledge of related software programs and applications.
- Strong knowledge of office programs and spreadsheet applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data analysis or data report (Power Bi).
- Certified payroll professional.
- Previous experience with UKG Kronos and/or SAP.
