Job Purpose and Impact

Clinic and EMS Doctor play a strategic role in supporting health and workplace safety within palm oil plantation operations. You are responsible to deliver comprehensive medical services to employees and their families, including general check‑ups, treatment, medical referrals, and emergency care in the field.

Beyond direct care, you will actively contribute to promote, preventive, curative and rehabilitative health programs, while supporting the company’s Occupational Health and Safety (K3) initiatives. With full readiness in remote locations, Clinic and EMS Doctor ensure that healthcare services remain responsive, professional and sustainable across the workplace environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Handle emergencies, deliver first aid, and carry out fit-to-work assessments, provide treatment for employees and their families when they’re sick or injured.  You’ll run clinic services at our sites to make sure healthcare is always accessible.
  • Design and roll out workplace health initiatives—covering topics like infectious diseases, nutrition, and hygiene.
  • Conduct regular checks on work environments, canteens, and employee housing to ensure hygiene standards are met.
  • Identify potential health risks and recommend preventive measures.
  • Work closely with EHS and RSPO teams on routine physical exams, contributing to decisions that impact workplace health.
  • Prepare medical and workplace health reports and provide health data to support company policies and external audits.
  • Ensure all healthcare services, clinics, and paramedic staff comply with medical and workplace safety regulations. Coordinate with Government Relations for licensing of clinics and paramedics.
  • Organize and lead Emergency Medical Services (EMS) training and simulations with employees, medical teams, and rescue personnel.
  • Oversee rescue, transport, and treatment activities for accidents, disasters, or anyone needing urgent medical help.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and completion of the professional physician program

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in plantation or industrial settings

  • Active Medical Registration Certificate (STR)

  • HIPERKES Certified  (mandatory for practicing in industrial workplaces)

  • Additional certifications are a plus: ACLS , ATLS,  Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Trauma Cardiac Life Support (BTCLS)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
