KCP Production Supervisor
Job Purpose and Impact
KCP Production Supervisor responsible to supervise a group of operators and helpers in running day to day mill activities according to required and instructed production targets, quality requirements and Cargill EH&S regulations. In this role, you will provide technical support, operations experience, continuous improvement and project management skills in a plant support capacity that ensures safe, efficient and low-cost plant operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible to understand, support, execute and communicate “Program Assurance” policy: EHS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Food Safety, RSPO,ISPO, PROPER and ISCC and do active participation in achieving “Program Assurance” goals based on company’s targets.
- Ensure that all contractor’s employees are wearing their PPE, daily enforcement on safety, especially when new jobs are assigned.
- Implement New Cargill Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs Policy Manual to strengthen Food Safety Management System in the Mill.
- Monitor, evaluate, troubleshoot and discuss about day to day process quality and losses issues in order to maximize yield and throughput of the mill
- Work closely with Lab to gain feedback on product samples and process adjustment to overcome problem.
- Serve as point of contact and interface with third party personnel to assist with setting priorities, monitoring safety and improving their skills over time.
- Connect with relevant personnel from other departments within the site or across the business to benchmark practices and assist in the creation of strategies.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma III or Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good financial skills and analysis (budgetting process)
- Proven leadership skills and strong commitment towards career
- Honest and disciplined
- Computer literate
