Job Purpose and Impact

We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Planner to manage short to mid-term supply plans for our edible oil operations. This role ensures product availability, efficient inventory levels, and smooth coordination between production, procurement, and logistics.

Key Accountabilities

    • Daily execution of planning (CRD advise) and sales quote approval based on capacity and demand.
    • Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts and production capacity.
    • Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans to meet service targets.
    • Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely execution.
    • Identify supply risks and propose mitigation actions.
    • Maintain planning data and parameters in ERP system to meet the customer delivery.
    • Help develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages or quality crisis.
    • Help create requirements plan and long-term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle.
    • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
    • Manage external tollers and monthly cycle count
    • Participate in generating and executing cycle and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs.
    • Participate in S&OE weekly and Supply Review monthly meeting for planning updates.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in supply or production planning, preferably in edible oil or commodity industry.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Pose a proactive attitude and responsive for commodity B2B
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Willing to travel to Westport and Port Klang.
