Job Purpose and Impact

The Mexico Procurement Lead will manage and execute regional sourcing activities to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and value creation. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for procurement activities within a complex buying or category organization, driving operational excellence and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Represent Procurement within the Mexico business leadership team, ensuring alignment between procurement priorities and overall business strategy.
  • Lead regional sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and regional strategies.
  • Provide expertise on regional spend, supplier landscape, and stakeholder management.
  • Manage and guide the procurement team, ensuring adherence to policies and operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Oversee supplier selection for non-contracted materials, goods, services, and supplies.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of seven years of related work experience
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in regional or global procurement environments is a plus.
