Job Purpose and Impact

The Manugacturing & Supply Chain Finance Senior Analyst job performs complex managerial accounting activities and partners with business leaders to support financial decision making. With minimal supervision, this job prepares financial reports, analyzes and reviews financial data and makes recommendations on budgeting and forecasting processes. This job also leads the continuous improvement of management information systems, reporting standards and business metric development to drive data informed business decisions.

Key Accountabilities

  • REPORT DRAFTING: Prepares complex financial and non financial reports for internal partners, analyzing and reviewing financial data to ensure relevant information is shared in a timely and accurate manner.
  • BUSINESS PERFORMANCE TRACKING: Develops reports and dashboards to track business performance against plans, budgets, forecasts and other key performance indicators.
  • DECISION SUPPORT: Reviews and communicates insights based on financial analysis and research to support strategic business decision making.
  • COST ANALYSIS: Reviews cost analysis for specific products, projects, or plants to better understand cost drivers and opportunities for improvement.
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Maintains knowledge of industry trends and accounting standards, ensuring compliance and driving process innovation and continuous improvement within the department to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • MANAGEMENT REPORTING: Leads the implementation of effective management reporting practices to improve and ensure data integrity and relevancy.
  • RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Cultivates and maintains close partnerships with business leaders and business teams to understand local and regional business needs and collaborates with other finance leads to deliver on overall finance function expectations.
  • RISK & CONTROL REPORTING: Reviews various complex reports including risk and mitigation controls reports, custom transaction code reports and sensitive role reports for gap assessment and cleanup activities to identify and address any gaps, vulnerabilities, or inefficiencies in an organization's control environment.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced data analytical skills for using spreadsheets and business intelligence tools
  • Experienced leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision making.
  • Experienced in supply chain logistics
  • Plant Manufacturing experience
  • SAP experience

Compensation Data

Compensation Data
The expected salary for this position is $90,000 - $130,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
