Product Line Specialist - Prepared Eggs

Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Product Line Specialist – Prepared Eggs will design and implement comprehensive portfolio management. In this role, you will assess customer and market needs, establish pricing and commercialization strategies, lead cross functional optimization initiatives, and handle product through phase out.
This position is in Cargill’s Value-Added Protein business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products for a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers. This role is focused on Prepared Eggs which entails a portfolio of products ranging from liquid eggs to cooked egg patties, omelets, scrambled eggs, and French toast.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare and coordinate business case for new product introductions and updates.
- Compile and evaluate research on product requirements and identify enhancements to current features and functionality.
- Coordinate product planning with customers to identify manufacturing schedules, goals, design criteria, costs and similar considerations.
- Plan, organize and coordinate assigned programs to accomplish financial and budgetary goals.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in General Business, Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Finance or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of business-to-business related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power BI
- Experience working with business-to-business customers in the food industry
- Experience with managing a product line, P&L, and budget
Applicant Information
The expected salary for this position is $95,000 to $135,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
