Account Manager
Job Purpose and Impact
The Account Manager will be aligned to Cargill’s Bioindustrial business in India. In this role you will participate in face-to-face and remote selling to the company's existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.
Key Accountabilities
• This will be a B2B sales model wherein you will develop account strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to improve service experience and loyalty.
• Hold meetings with clients to discuss objectives, challenges, and strategic solutions.
• Development and delivery of sales proposals and conducting detailed presentations for effective product demonstration.
• Build a business plan for each account developing strong client relationships.
• Plan daily activities, including customer visits, and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
• Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize solutions for clients.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience as an account manager in a B2B sales model.
• Strong experience of working as an account manager in an MNC environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in this role in the paint, agrochemicals, candle waxing and allied sectors.
• Proven experience of working with existing customers by assessing their requirements and proposing suitable solutions.
