This position is in Cargill’s animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.

Compensation: $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr based on experience

Principal Accountabilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and perform basic equipment troubleshooting for research equipment to ensure proper protocols requirements. (Scales, pressure washer, milk taxi, pallet jack)
- Contribute to continuous evaluation and improvement of experimental methodology, daily routines and procedures.
- Maintain safe working conditions in accordance to our safety program and animal welfare standards and comply with animal policies.
- Execute predefined protocols and standard operation procedures, like feeding, sample collection, animal observation, disease recognition for Calves and turkeys, accurate data compilation, observations, deviations and trial quality measurement are in time and in scope.
- Handle administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Required Qualifications:
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Able to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic computer skills
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in production related work
- Experience operating a forklift and/or warehousing experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
