Plant Technician
About the Role
Maintain and ensure all plant equipment and facilities are in good and safe running condition. Ensure that equipment and machinery are optimized to achieve high operational efficiency, reliability, and cost-effective production. The role is also expected to provide frontline leadership in maintenance activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Reliability
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect plant equipment and utilities.
Maintain spare parts inventory and equipment maintenance records.
Project Execution
Support and lead maintenance, installation, and improvement projects.
Coordinate resources and ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, safety standards, and operating procedures.
Support audits, housekeeping standards, and workplace safety initiatives.
Promote a zero-incident culture and address safety concerns promptly.
Asset Management & Documentation
Execute preventive maintenance programs, calibration activities, and equipment inspections.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, purchase requests, and inventory documentation.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to maintenance personnel and contractors.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate effectively with Production, Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams.
About You
Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or any related technical course
At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledgeable in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of plant equipment and utilities
Able to read and interpret process flow diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
Experience with mechanical systems such as boilers, pumps, conveyors, compressors, and pneumatics; electrical maintenance experience is an advantage
Demonstrates strong leadership skills, initiative, and ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams
Knowledgeable in safety, quality, HACCP, GMP, and continuous improvement practices
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Willing to be assigned in Pulilan, Bulacan and on shifting schedules
Licensed Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is an advantage but not required.
