Job Purpose and Impact

Consiste en liderar estratégicamente la Salud Ocupacional de la organización y a su equipo de trabajo, gestionando riesgos legales, ocupacionales y financieros, garantizando la implementación y cumplimiento de programas corporativos y regulatorios. Incluye relacionamiento con líderes del negocio, participación en comités y auditorías, realización de inspecciones en sitio y seguimiento de indicadores. También abarca el cumplimiento de requisitos legales, reportes gubernamentales, vigilancia de la salud de los trabajadores, evaluaciones higiénico‑industriales y gestión de contratistas. La posición administra el presupuesto, aprueba compras, autoriza químicos, participa en investigaciones de accidentes y asegura registros de salud y accidentalidad. Además, lidera procesos de selección, entrenamiento y evaluación del equipo, gestiona cambios operacionales (MOC), participa en reuniones estratégicas y apoya iniciativas de responsabilidad social.

Key Accountabilities

  • Mantener en el tiempo, la disciplina de ejecución de programas de SO y cumplimiento legal requerido en el país.
  • Identificar riesgos que pueden ser evitables para prevenir accidentes de trabajo y/o enfermedades ocupacionales y contribuir a la toma de acciones preventivas.
  • Controlar los riesgos existentes y evaluar la afectación que pueda tener impacto en la salud de los trabajadores y de esta manera tomar medidas de control efectivas y preventivas.
  • Control, evaluación y mejora continua en los procesos de seguridad, salud y medio ambiente.
  • Garantizar que las gestiones de salud se cumplan de conformidad a lo establecido y posibilidad presupuestaria.
  • Brindar información segura, completa con el fin de contribuir a la educación de cada asociado.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento y seguimiento de permisos de funcionamiento de los consultorios médicos.
  • Evitar multas a la compañía.
  • Manejo y administración de Budget.
  • Cumplir los criterios, normas de ingreso autorizados por Cargill.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Médico(a) en Medicina y Cirugía.
  • Especialización en Salud Ocupacional, Maestría en Salud laboral, Seguridad, Higiene y Ergonomía.
  • Inglés B2 (intermedio).
  • Manejo de Bases de Datos.
  • Microsoft office.
  • Soporte vital avanzado y básico.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experiencia mínima de 5 años en cargos similares.
  • Diplomado en Gerencia hospitalaria. (deseable)
  • Basic Principles in Occupational Hygiene (deseable)
