Job Purpose and Impact
Buyer, Thailand & Philippines Ingredients will support multiple country or multiple business sourcing activities. In this role, you will execute complex procurement tasks to provide inputs to the global category team.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead sourcing alternative suppliers, cost saving or better conditions.
- Performs the more complex sourcing fundamental support activities for Ingredient within assigned Business unit.
- Execute medium and highly complex requests and able to sourcing alternative suppliers, cost saving or better conditions
- Lead and drive the medium and highly complex sourcing project by engaging stakeholder and supplier.
- Price & conditions analysis and initiate saving opportunity.
- Handle purchasing activities as assigned area (local®ional stakeholder), meet the requirement at the best price and condition.
- Support junior Purchaser in negotiation skill, working process.
- Bring/Build up supplier relationship management among supplier and stakeholder to get the most benefit in term of Business view.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agro-Industry Faculty (Major: Food Science &Technology, Product Development) or relevant degree (i.e. Chemical/or Biological Engineering , Animal science)
- At least 5 years experience in purchasing area and food business , poultry business are preferable.
- Good communication in English both written and oral (TOEIC score: >700 is preferable)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, ERP system, Power BI
- Experience in handling multiple regional and global markets both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in managing a total annual spend of $50 Million
- Experience in performing the more complex sourcing fundamental support activities for Ingredient and within assigned Business unit.
- Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers in multi country and regional scope
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
- Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Commercially and financially aware
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
