Job Purpose and Impact

The Customer Value Associate Director will collaborate across enterprises in multifunctional and various commercial teams to deliver quality, food safety and other compliance or technical and information solutions that create strategic value for customers and the company. In this role, you will bridge customer facing food safety quality, regulatory and social responsibility activities across all businesses in the assigned region and drive consistent approaches in service to customers. You will drive process standardization in line with global customer value ways of working and harmonization while respecting regional differences. You will also facilitate targeted commercial growth across all businesses, actively participate in significant new business development opportunities and partner with brand owners and customers to identify and deliver food safety quality and regulatory solutions that create demand for renewable and sustainable products.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner across various businesses to establish strong networks in food safety qualify and regulatory spaces that will enable businesses' customer strategies and commercial teams to deliver maximum long term strategic value for the customer.
  • Advise functional and commercial leaders to leverage food safety, quality and regulatory principles to drive top line growth and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for customers and the company.
  • Direct the team to provide customer centric and data driven approaches to understand key customer business issues, investments and be proactive to market trends to create value for customers and the company.
  • Enable the global accounts leaders and food safety, quality and regulatory teams with interdisciplinary expertise to generate strategic long term relationships that help drive top line growth.
  • Lead the execution of process and information strategies to forge productive partnerships with customers and executive stakeholders through food safety, quality and regulatory and interdisciplinary expertise.
  • Foster strong relationships that support cross functional deliverables, maximize company assets, provide a full view of the breadth of products and services being delivered to the customer and explore traditional and nontraditional levers of value creation and innovative solutions.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Confirmed experience in food safety, quality and regulatory matters, operations, project management or business development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration
  • Confirmed ability to motivate change in a complex matrix organization with competing priorities
  • Confirmed ability to deliver business results through matrixed, virtual and geographically diverse teams and others outside the direct reporting structure
  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • Prior regional leadership and cross business or cross enterprise experience
