Job Purpose and Impact

The Warehouse Operator I, will perform various routine or repetitive warehouse tasks and operate warehouse equipment under frequent guidance. In this role you will support efficient and safe operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Move, receive and ship product or materials in a warehouse and record transactions into computerized systems under frequent and detailed guidance typically focused on one area of repetitive and routine work.
  • Receive incoming goods verifying packaging documentation against shipment records and checks for damages following routine, standard procedures and frequent guidance and escalating issues to others.
  • Gathers, weighs, prepares, verifies and documents items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method, including recording received and shipped items, with frequent guidance and escalating issues to others
  • Ensure safe storage of product in the warehouse, minimizing damage, utilizing basic understanding to perform foundational, clearly defined processes.
  • Operate equipment and machines such as hand trucks, forklift, palletizer, stretch-film wrapper, labeler or conveyors in order to stack or wrap materials to move materials, store product and prepare product for shipment.
  • Perform housekeeping duties and general warehouse maintenance.
  • Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned
