Job Purpose and Impact

The Bulk Loader Unloader Lead will perform assigned lead responsibilities and operate equipment for loading and unloading equipment of variety of bulk materials including chemicals and biodiesel, from trucks, trains and barges using an in-depth understanding of policies and procedures and with occasional guidance. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring material movement and storage operations are completed adhering to policies and procedures to ensure all safety and regulations are followed.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform ongoing assigned lead activities including providing to support to team.
  • Operate control panel or switch board to control loading and unloading machine and equipment for a variety of bulk materials including chemicals and biodiesel from trucks, trains and water vessels or tanks with minimal guidance and provide support for others.
  • Monitor loading and unloading processes and following standard operating procedures and make adjustments to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
  • Perform ingredient testing and collect product samples.
  • Ensure loading and unloading manual preparations and inspections are performed and documentation and process quality records are completed both manually and electronically as required.
  • Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lockout tag outs confine space requirements and take lead in tank cleaning activity.
  • To involve directly in the investigation for any issue involving external and internal customer complaint and ensure all corrective actions are in place and verified by FSQR team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum SPM with credits in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics.  

Basic computer knowledge

Basic mechanical and / or electrical knowledge.

Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment or similar industry will be an added advantage.

Experience in leading or managing a team of employees is an added advantage.
