Job Purpose and Impact
The Transportation and Logistics Data Analyst I, will help analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization's products. In this role, you will help plan and coordinate fleet operations, including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance and repair, the disposal of trucks and the hiring of common carriers and third party transportation companies as appropriate.
Key Accountabilities
- Use established procedures to perform structured work assignments.
- Maintain internal transportation database and create customized reports.
- Support and refine the carrier cost models and perform specialized analysis of current and new carrier operations.
- Extract and query data and perform analyses on data from many sources.
- Conduct external and internal market research to obtain market conditions on transportation and logistics.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
