Associate/Sr Associate, Corporate Strategy
Job Purpose and Impact
As a Corporate Strategy Associate/Sr. Associate at Cargill, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Strategy team, working with senior leadership to develop world class actionable strategy and execute transformative initiatives for various businesses of Cargill. This position requires a blend of problem-solving and thought leadership, communication and stakeholder management, and project and workstream management skills.
Key Accountabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically. Structure complex business problems, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, generate and synthesize findings, and recommend solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leaders.
- Develop trust-based relationships with stakeholders from different businesses, including senior executives, commercial teams, and functional teams.
- Independently lead project workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and high-quality outputs.
- Coach / mentor junior colleagues, fostering their professional development and ensuring productive team dynamics.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university and Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) from a top-tier institution, with academic excellence.
- Experience in top-tier consulting firms and strong performance track-record.
- Experience in strategy development across growth and transformation topics. Experience in Asia is preferred. (3-5 years for Associates, 6-8 years for Senior Associates)
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling and corporate finance (either through experience or certifications e.g. CFA, CA qualification)
- Experience in the agricultural, food, or commodities sectors is a plus.
