Job Purpose and Impact

The Laboratory and Shipment Technician II will conduct laboratory control of the technological process in accordance with the procedures in place to ensure the highest quality of the manufactured products with and understanding of policies and procedures and under regular guidance. In this role, you will prepare shipments of final products to customers and also conduct quality control of shipped products to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform laboratory analysis in accordance with applicable measurement methodologies and schedules with regular guidance.
  • Operate all the laboratory equipment and ensure the resolution of basic malfunction issues.
  • Apply practical and theoretical knowledge of analytical techniques used in the food safety, quality and regulatory laboratory.
  • Perform all operational activities to prepare the shipment of syrups to the customer and also perform tasks related to shipping products to customers to ensure timely delivery and high quality service.
  • Use broad understanding of the technological process and specific knowledge of the syrup manufacturing process to identify potential risks to food safety and quality assurance.
  • Understand and adhere to all safety and quality assurance policies and procedures (GMP, GLP, HACCP) and collaborate with the refinery manager, shift leader and head operator as required.
