Job Purpose and Impact

The Director Credit-To-Cash, Agriculture&Trading, EMEA&APAC  role leads the execution of both tactical and strategic plans to minimize the organization’s credit risk while maximizing cash flow and operational efficiency across the Credit to Cash cycle. This position is responsible for overseeing credit operations, collections, and dispute management activities, including creditworthiness assessments, , counterparty relationship management, and credit reporting.
The role  implements and continuously improves credit, collections, and dispute resolution processes, ensuring timely collections, effective dispute resolution, and strong collaboration with commercial and operational teams. This leader drives the implementation of robust credit controls, policies, and performance metrics to support the organization’s financial health, liquidity, and risk management objectives.
Additionally,  leads and develops a high-performing team, promotes continuous improvement and process standardization, and ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities

•    CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS: Leads customer account management activities, including tracking account status, following up on overdue accounts, and assessing customer portfolio risk.
•    REGIONAL LEADERSHIP: Leads end-to-end Credit to Cash activities (credit, collections, and dispute management) across two regions, ensuring strong cash flow, risk management, and consistent execution while respecting regional differences.
•    CREDIT-TO-CASH PROCESS DELIVERY STANDARDS:Implement credit, collections, and dispute policies, controls, and standards, balancing global consistency with local regulatory, market, and cultural requirements.
•    COLLABORATION: Partners on the implementation of credit strategies, maintains strong working relationships, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards with cross-functional stakeholders across regions, effectively navigating cultural diversity, influencing outcomes, and resolving escalations.
•    RISK MANAGEMENT: Prioritizes potential sources of loss and develops plans to resolve potential financial consequences and ultimately mitigate the organization's credit risk. Oversees regional customer portfolios, credit exposure, delinquency, and dispute trends, enabling balanced, data-driven decisions aligned with business and regional market dynamics. 
•    CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Drives standardization, automation, and best-practice sharing across regions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
•    INDUSTRY EXPERTISE: Guides the team to stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best in class industry standards in credit management, proposing and leading the continuous improvement in processes, risk mitigation and credit operations.
•    INSIGHTS&PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: Delivers clear regional and consolidated insights on DSO, overdue, disputes, and risk indicators to support leadership decision-making.
•    TEAM MANAGEMENT: Leads and develops geographically distributed team members to achieve the organization's goals, by ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, creating goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture. The role will be tasked with fostering inclusion, collaboration, accountability, and cultural awareness.

Qualifications

•    Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
•    Proven professional background in credit-to-cash.
•    Experienced people manager – led, developed and managed professionals.
