Job Purpose and Impact

The Market Analytics and Insights Specialist II will develop an understanding of the general business, industry, competitive and market environment through data driven analysis and relevant insights generation to help business leaders make more informed decisions. In this role, you will provide moderately complex analysis of markets, economics, competition and the broader business environment by developing and disseminating various analytics, models, analysis and reports to influence business decisions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Gather, organize, synthesize and curate moderately complex or multi modal data sources to develop and execute moderately complex analysis and analytics and identify and interpret trends or patterns.
  • Apply general business knowledge and available industry, business, internal, external and other contextual data to discern critical market insights along with short and long term implications for the business and identify business risk and opportunity.
  • Prepare timely, accurate and actionable market reports and visualizations for business stakeholders to drive business decision making.
  • Apply general knowledge of research and analytics tools and methodologies to improve general market insights activities.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Data based critical thinking and business acumen to address business problems
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • General knowledge of market research and analytics tools and methodologies
  • Experience performing market analysis and distilling results and providing recommendations
