Job Purpose and Impact

We are looking for a Global Technology Advisor – Poultry who will be responsible to identify and execute business innovation growth projects and lead, prioritize and report on the innovation portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to provide industry leading expertise to build value and drive process improvements and the tools and metrics used to support them, while coaching and executing business innovation strategies. Also, you will connect Cargill teams and project leaders in different areas to guarantee the technology application according to Cargill Animal Health and Nutrition strategy.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary technology contact for key customer accounts, including interaction with senior customer technology and commercial leadership and translating customer needs into technology development opportunities (products, services, programs).
  • Direct the implementation of business‑defined technology solutions and act as a thought leader in the poultry domain.
  • Lead and manage the research portfolio across global and local innovation initiatives (NPSS), contribute to Global Exchange initiatives and drive local NPSS strategy in partnership with marketers and commercial teams.
  • Conduct projects to develop technologies, validate products and programs, and evaluate ingredients, additives and other solutions part of the partner areas
  • Lead technology development, research pipeline management, and technical relationships
  • Oversee technology application, laboratory services, and the center‑of‑excellence for technology implementation and support cross‑country business understanding and exchange.
  • Ensuring Commercial Enablement & Key Account Support delivers training on technologies and programs and lead innovative idea workshops and academic engagement inside and outside the organization.
  • Represent and support the development of TAM (Technical Application Manager) teams and their leadership capabilities to strengthen organizational capabilities
  • Develop strong business acumen and align technology strategies with organizational goals and business priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in a field related to animal nutrition or animal science.
  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Strong foundation in poultry nutrition and animal production areas.
  • Research skills and ability to co-create trial designs, execution, data analysis, and evidence‑based interpretation.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in poultry production or farm experience.
  • Customer facing technical service experience
  • Practical experience in positional animal nutrition and health solutions
  • Project management experience
  • Fluent in Spanish language.
