Principal Accountabilities:

  • Install, dismantle, relocate, and set up machinery and heavy equipment in accordance with layout plans, blueprints, and schematics
  • Perform precision alignment of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment using laser alignment tools or dial indicators
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including conveyors, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, and bearings
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct root cause analysis to minimize downtime and prevent recurrence
  • Fabricate, modify, or repair components as needed using welding, machining, and various hand and power tools
  • Collaborate with electricians, welders, and other maintenance personnel on cross-functional repairs, installations, and improvement projects
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of work performed, parts used, and equipment status in SAP or other CMMS platforms
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) and confined spaces  
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working as a Mechanic or Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Skilled in the safe and effective use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Laser alignment experience or certification
  • Welding and fabrication skills, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls
