Job Purpose and Impact

The Advisor, CargillAg Program Management role provides thought leadership in the development and implementation of technology and data products and solutions in service of user, company, and customer objectives. As a recognized subject matter expert, this role develops product strategy and vision, leads discovery efforts, and ensures that value is delivered through the product to meet strategic goals. This role is accountable for scaling value across broader systems, consistently raising the bar for product excellence and driving outcomes for high‑impact initiatives. As a multiplier, this position not only delivers results but also elevates the performance of others, coaching product managers, refining product practices, and fostering strong cross‑functional alignment across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • BACKLOG MANAGEMENT: Discovers and prioritizes the backlog of opportunities in order to achieve product outcomes.
  • PARTNERS COMMUNICATION: Leads efforts to improve communications with business and functions partners across the company to uncover business needs and deliver efficient solutions.
  • PRODUCT ADOPTION: Works with the relevant internal stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.
  • PRODUCT DELIVERY: Collaborate with engineering team members to deliver product outcomes, thereby providing effective end user value and process improvements.
  • PRODUCT STRATEGY: Establishes an effective product strategy by building consensus and a shared understanding with leaders, stakeholders and the product team  
  • PROCESS DEVELOPMENT & SUSTAINABILITY: Enables strong business process via ongoing maintenance and support for product in greater product ecosystem
  • LEADERSHIP ADVISORY: Advises and influences the leadership team and multiple partners on the enterprise or group business operations.

Qualifications

MINIMUM & TYPICAL YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of Agile values, frameworks, metrics, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience leveraging product metrics (such as KPIs, user data, or financial impact) to influence product decisions or outcomes

PREFERRED: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data, or a related field
  • Strong comfort using AI tools to support analysis, planning, requirement development, or communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous or technical requirements into actionable components.

Position Information

  • The expected salary for this position is $130,000-$200,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
