Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor will coordinate the deployment of leading maintenance practices in alignment with site priorities. In this role, you will lead a team which executes a variety of medium complex activities to maintain capacity utilization and quality standards for reliable operations in the food manufacturing site.

The role requires balancing people leadership with day-to-day reliability and maintenance priorities.

Key Accountabilities

•    Coordinate the execution of specific equipment strategy for each asset involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding a high hazard process, including reliability and condition monitoring activities.
•    Implement methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards, while maintaining a strong focus on safety performance.
•    Assist to lead the integration of contractor partners and equipment providing support to the plant force and shop floor operations.
•    Partner with regional and global leadership to support area leading practices.
•    Lead and support maintenance escalation activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational continuity.
•    You will have authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions, and much of your time is spent completing the same tasks as the subordinate employees, including coaching and developing frontline leaders and maintenance teams.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 
•    Directly related work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
•    Supervisory or team leadership experience in an engineering, maintenance or manufacturing environment.
•    Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance. 
•    Proven understanding of safety systems permits to work and contractor control.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Knowledge of related tools, processes controls and area technology systems.
•    Experience coordinating third party resources to deliver business results.
•    Knowledge of CMMS/EAM systems, control systems and area reliability tools. 
•    Strong people management, communication and stakeholder skills. 
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strategic mindset.
