Job Purpose and Impact

The Operation Associate I, will perform support activities related to plant information and controls and will hold a key position in tracking plant performance. In this role, you will coordinate the plant performance analysis regarding volumes, product quality and productivity performance. You will be a key player in operations supporting expenses and assisting with procurement processes for supplies. You will support plant management with insightful information as the foundation for their decisions, implement and follow up on corrective actions and create and improve and update reports and presentations for regular meetings.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare and apply detailed information and actions lists for the site performance meetings.
  • Monitor plant procurement processes to ensure ordering supplies is completed to ensure plant downtime is minimized or eliminated.
  • Coordinate activities that involve product quality, such as reports, cross checks and training.
  • Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of office programs and spreadsheet applications
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
