Shift Available: 3rd shift, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Compensation: $23.25/hr
Shift Differential: $0.50 for 2nd, $0.75 for 3rd shift 


Job Overview

Join Cargill as a Forklift Operator and help keep production and warehouse operations running safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate high-skill industrial forklifts and support material flow across the facility while following strict safety and regulatory standards. This position is ideal for an experienced operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting production teams.

What You will Do

  • Safely operate industrial forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, store, load, and unload materials within production and warehouse areas.
  • Handle irregular, bulky, or palletized materials, including loading trucks and stacking product in high racks or storage locations.
  • Support production flow by supplying packaging materials, pulling loads from lines, and performing quality checks on wrapping and labels.
  • Operate related equipment such as robotic palletizers, hand trucks, and scanners, and assist with line changeovers as needed.
  • Review and complete production shipping and receiving documentation, and enter material movement data into computerized systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area by disposing of waste using compactors or balers, and following all safety and lockout procedures.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance notice.
  • Other duties as assigned.



What You Will Need

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbal and written.
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights of 4 feet or more, and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation and while  using appropriate PPE.
  • Basic computer skills.
