Principal Accountabilities:
Operation of packaging equipment
Input production data into SAP
Monitor bag weights on scale
Input production downtime information into SAP
Collect samples/Perform quality testing
Minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
Repalletizing/disposal of distressed product
Perform change over tasks
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Operate forklifts to pull product off packaging lines, keep packaging lines supplied with material, and other daily forklift operations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Must be able to perform physical job duties such as bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in elevated areas. (4 feet and above)
Must be able to read/write English
Basic computer skills
Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts, and overtime
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or Equivalent
Prior experience in production related work
Forklift Certified
Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold
Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
Must be able to operate machinery
