Commercial Excellence- Manager (APAC)
Job Purpose and Impact
The Manager – Commercial Excellence (APAC) plays a critical role in enabling regional growth strategy through data-driven insights, commercial analytics, and structured execution. This role partners closely with regional and sub-regional stakeholders to identify commercial growth opportunities, improve commercial effectiveness, and drive disciplined execution of organic growth initiatives.
The position acts as a key bridge between strategy and execution by translating APAC priorities into actionable insights and measurable outcomes, strengthening governance, and enhancing decision-making through standardized frameworks and analysis.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional and sub-regional teams to identify and prioritize key growth opportunities and track performance against defined growth spaces.
- Provide thought leadership in the identification and implementation of commercial and sales best practices, strategic accounts planning & management that provide tangible, measurable results.
- Drive performance optimization for the sales and wider go to market organization.
- Develop execution strategies to implement sales effectiveness sales funnel management based on company sales framework.
- Assist to develop, implement and assess current capability levels in commercial excellence for each market and provide thought leadership to develop plans to continuously upgrade commercial excellence capabilities by market.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
- Analyze and interpret commercial data to identify performance gaps and key levers (e.g., pricing, product mix, markets, conversion) to optimize sales outcomes.
- Act as a bridge between strategy and execution to ensure alignment and delivery of measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of “relevant” experience in commercial analytics, strategy, business analysis, revenue growth management or commercial excellence related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency and experience with data visualization & analytics tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and regional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in APAC or multi-market environments with exposure to regional commercial dynamics.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed, fast-changing organization and influence decision-making without direct authority.
