Job Purpose and Impact
As a Corporate Strategy Senior Associate at Cargill, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Strategy team, working with senior leadership to develop world class actionable strategy and execute transformative initiatives for various businesses of Cargill. In this role, you will require a blend of problem-solving and thought leadership, communication and stakeholder management, and project and workstream management skills.
Key Accountabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically. Structure complex business problems, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, generate and synthesize findings, and recommend solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leaders.
- Develop trust-based relationships with stakeholders from different businesses, including senior executives, commercial teams, and functional teams.
- Independently lead project workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and high-quality outputs.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues, fostering their professional development and ensuring productive team dynamics.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university, with academic excellence or equivalent experience.
- Experience in strategy development across growth and transformation topics.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling and corporate finance.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) from a top-tier institution, with academic excellence.
- 2-3+ years experience in top-tier consulting firms and strong performance track-record.
- Experience in the agricultural, food, or commodities sectors is a plus.
Position Information
This position is located in Wayzata, Minnesota
Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
Compensation
The expected salary for this position is $140k to $170k. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
