Job Purpose and Impact

The Sourcing Generalist I, will work as part of a team to perform routine, basic sourcing support activities for a category or subcategory locally. In this role, you will contribute to soliciting and analyzing requests for proposals, negotiating contracts and coordinating supplier integration plans with internal clients for goods and services.

Key Accountabilities

• Understand business requirements for less complex categories, sub categories aligned with local sourcing requirements.
• Support the routine activities within local sourcing.
• Conduct basic research and analysis using a basic understanding of data management and analytics and sourcing.
• Participate in local supplier selection and negotiations.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned
